INQUIRY

I am a 30yr old banker and I am also married. I want to apply for a B1/B2 visa but the thing is, I have been to Kuwait before in 2008 for my best friend’s daughter Christening which I was the god father of the baby. I have also been to South Africa and Dubai. I don’t know if my Kuwait experience would make the interviewer deny me the visa because of the Kuwait trip, sighting potential terrorist country, but I also learnt that US have good ties with the Kuwaitis. So please advise me as I believe previous travel experience will give you an edge. Also which is the best place to apply, Lagos or Abuja. Thank you.

SUGGESTION PLEASE

Hello, i am new here. i however have a visa experience. i was supposed to travel with my parents to attend my immediate elder brother's wedding in Chicago  though the appointment was booked together, they would not allow us take it together. my parents took it together while i took mine separately. the officer, a black young lady asked me what my visit was for, i told her i am attending my brother's wedding and i am the best man. she asked what i do, i told her i am a lawyer. again ow much i earn, i told her, about N220,000. she then worked at her computer and suddenly asked me why the wedding is taking place in Atlanta while the couple stay in Chicago  Actually my brother is taking his PhD in Chicago and they lived and met in Chicago but they are more comfortable with Atlanta because the bride family previously lived there. more so  its a destination wedding and people coming all around the world for it. she wasn't convinced. she asked if i have made plans for the trip and i said i have a reservation at the Sheraton in Atlanta where the wedding will take place. she just did not request for any of my documents. she asked if married, i said i had a fiancee. out of the country before, i said no. she then says am not qualified for a visa. i was so distraught. my brother was devastated  only my parents were given. i wanted to appeal it but i dropped it. i think they assume i do not have enough ties. they don't care how important what you are going to do in the US is, once ties is not well established, they take you down. then i ll probably travel around to some places before applying again  anything to show the circumstances have changed. any other suggestion please?

VISA ENQUIRY

Good day to you all....i stumbled upon this blog in the most funny circumstances and i have been well informed since reading and going through all the trend.
I have a situation and i would like your advice on it, my fiance is in the u.s.a and we plan on getting married next year ending. she actually works and studies but at the same time leaves with her dad as of right now, though she intends to move out, we want to file for me on the basis of marriage (she will be coming to Nigeria this year) where we would go for a court wedding. based on this do you think i would be granted a visa.
i actually work right now and i wont say my pay runs into millions but its fair. i also haven't let the shores of this country, then i would also like to have any other opinion that can be helpful. we were also thinking of going for the tourist visa but we just want to weigh our options before heading to the embassy.
i would really appreciate your response
